Things to know

Who are the coaches?
We work with several soccer schools whose coaches train and supervise the kids together with JAKO employees during the JAKO soccer camps. Some of our coaches come from the JOX Sports Barcelona soccer school (JoxSports – Entrena como los profesionales). Their team includes young, soccer-loving coaches who help boys and girls achieve their best in their favorite sport - soccer - at their academy and other soccer camps. To do this, they train young players to a high standard, both athletically and tactically.

We also work with the Chiquinho Soccer Academy (https://chiquinho-fussballakademie.de/). The established and well-known coaches, including legends such as Alexandre da Silva, Raffael, Ailton, Roel Brouwers, etc., passionately impart their skills and particularly important values to the children. The Chiquinho Soccer Academy offers kids special training experiences: “Many of our coaches were professional athletes themselves and have outstanding expertise in soccer.” This means that the children receive optimal support and can develop both their soccer skills and their personal skills on the field.

There is also a partnership with the DropKick soccer school, initiated by Rico Hofmann, a player for Oberliga club FSV Hollenbach. With great dedication, the young coaches not only put together a professional training program, but also look after the children every day with a lot of passion and commitment, both on and off the pitch.

Terms and conditions
1. Registration

Registration must be made in writing using the digital registration form provided for this purpose. Advance registration (by telephone) is not possible. The legal guardian is fully responsible for the contractual obligations of all participants registered by him/her. A confirmation of registration will be sent, confirming binding participation in the camp.

2. Payment

The participation fee is payable immediately upon receipt of the registration confirmation. The price quoted applies per registered child.

3. Withdrawal of the participating child and replacement participants

You can withdraw your child from the soccer camp at any time before it begins. Withdrawal from the camp registration must be made in writing (by email to the organizer). If you withdraw from the confirmed registration or if your child does not attend the camp despite confirmed registration, the organizers may retain a reasonable portion of the participation fee for the arrangements made and expenses incurred.

The following amounts are refundable if you cancel your registration for the camp:

  • Up to 4 weeks before the start of the camp: 100% of the participation fee
  • Up to 2 weeks before the start of the camp: 50% of the participation fee
  • Within 0 to 13 days before the start of the camp: 0% of the participation fee
  • If your child does not attend the camp despite having a confirmed registration: 0% of the participation fee

The date on which the camp organizer receives the cancellation notice is decisive for the deadlines. It is only possible to avoid (partial) payment of the participation fee in the event of cancellation if a replacement participant can be named directly at the time of cancellation/withdrawal. The camp organizer may object to the entry of the replacement participant if they do not meet the specific participation requirements or if their participation is contrary to legal regulations or official orders.

If cancellation insurance has been taken out, the participant fee, excluding the amount for the cancellation insurance, will be refunded upon cancellation of the camp at any time prior to the camp.

The cancellation insurance and the entitlement to a full refund expire at the start of the camp.

4. Cancellation of the event

The organizer has the right to cancel the camp for reasons beyond their control (e.g., insufficient number of participants, short-term unavailability of trainers and supervisors without the possibility of replacement, force majeure). Participants will be notified of this using the contact details provided in their registration. In the event of cancellation of the event in advance, the participation fee already paid will be refunded in full.

5. Exclusion from participation

The organizer is entitled to exclude participants from further participation in special cases, e.g., in the event of non-payment of the participation fee or repeated, significant disruption of the event. In the event of exclusion, the participation fee cannot be refunded.

6. Liability of the organizer

The organizer is liable within the scope of its duty of care for:

  1. conscientious preparation
  2. careful selection and supervision of service providers
  3. the accuracy of the description
  4. the proper provision of the agreed services

The organizer accepts no liability for cancellations of the services offered due to weather or other conditions, and there is no entitlement to a refund of the entire participation fee.

The organizer accepts no liability for damage or injury to themselves or third parties. The organizer expressly accepts no liability for damage to paths and damage to the respective training facilities, or for damage of any kind before, during, or after its services.

7. Insurance

All participants must have health and liability insurance; children and adolescents must be insured through their legal guardians. Participants may take out additional insurance at their own discretion.

8. Medical care

If a participant falls ill or is injured during the JAKO Camp, the participant or their legal guardians authorize the organizer to take all necessary steps and actions to ensure safe, appropriate treatment and/or transport home. If the organizer incurs costs for emergency medical care for a participant, the participant or their legal guardians agree to reimburse these costs immediately.
